Darkness
There is a shadow beneath my skin
It claws it curls it reeks within
It looks to hurt me when I'm weak
Corrupting every word I speak
Alone in darkness oh so black
It gnaws small marks on my back
It wants my goodness out the way
It screams and shrieks for me to sway
Deep inside I start to hate
It has no patience, cannot wait
This shadow untrue, cannot be
